Funeral Services For Myron Reppening

Funeral services for Myron Repenning, age 87, of Bloomfield, Nebraska will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Christ Lutheran Church in rural Creighton, Nebraska. Reverend Terry Huber will officiate, with burial in Christ Lutheran Cemetery in rural Creighton.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Brockhaus Funeral Home in Creighton.

Myron died Sunday, March 11, 2018, at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk, Nebraska.

Myron Allen Repenning, son of Walter and Enda (Gnewuch) Repenning, was born May 27, 1930, on the farm southwest of Bloomfield, Nebraska. He was baptized as an infant, and confirmed at the age of fourteen at First Trinity Lutheran Church in Bloomfield. Myron attended Kemma School through the eighth grade. After his schooling, he farmed with his family and farmers in the community.

Myron married Adaila Berner on January 27, 1951. To this union six children were born. They farmed southwest of Bloomfield until 1958, when they moved to Seattle, Washington, where Myron worked as a carpenter until March of 1963. Myron and his children moved back to Nebraska where he returned to farming.

In 1981, Myron married Roberta Noffke. They continued working together farming and raising hogs and cattle until their retirement in 1996. During their retirement, they loved to travel to Texas for the winters.

Myron is survived by his wife, Roberta; his children, Vickie Repenning of Norfolk, David (Virginia) Repenning of Joliet, Montana, Tom (Monica) Repenning of Niobrara, Cynthia Repenning of Mission Hill, South Dakota, and Jack (Sheri) Repenning of Grandview, Texas; step-children, Terry (Mary Jo) Noffke, Randy (Eddie) Noffke, and Robin Lynn Hellorich; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Ruth Walter and Ellen Warriner; son, Franklin Charles Repenning; great-granddaughter, Mary Ann Sukup; and a step-daughter, Linda Wilks.
