Funeral Services For Dorothy Frisch

Mass of Christian Burial for Dorothy Frisch, age 90, of Creighton, Nebraska will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018, at St. Ludger Catholic Church in Creighton. Reverend Jeremy Hans will be Celebrant, with burial in St. Ludger Catholic Cemetery in Creighton.

Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brockhaus Funeral Home in Creighton, with a 7:00 p.m. Wake Service.

Dorothy died Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at Avera Creighton Care Centre.

Dorothy Rose Frisch, daughter of John Sr. and Elizabeth (Losselyong) Demerath, was born February 11, 1928, at rural Creighton, Nebraska. She attended District 22 grade school in Antelope County and graduated from St. Ludger Academy of Creighton in 1945.

On September 25, 1946, Dorothy married Lawrence “Lornie” Frisch at St. Ludger Catholic Church. They farmed six and a half miles east of Creighton where four children were born to them: Donna, Dianne, Delores “Lori”, and Lee. Lornie and Dorothy lived on the farm until 1978, when they moved into Creighton and Dorothy began working for the Flower Basket. In July of 1985, Lornie passed away. Dorothy continued working at the Flower Basket for several years.

Dorothy was a member of St. Ludger Catholic Church and was involved with the Altar Society.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Donna (Gordon) Fulton of Creighton, Dianne (Tom) McInerney of Cave Creek, Arizona, Lori (Steve) Pecha of Evans, Georgia, and Lee (Lenice) Frisch of Creighton; ten grandchildren, Cindy (Jerry) Fulton-Serrano of Raymond, Nebraska, Christy (Chad) Waldow of Norfolk, Cathy (Erik) Burns of Creighton, Brian (Krista) McInerney of Seattle, Washington, Kelly (Kevin) Groff of Phoenix, Arizona, Doug (Sue) Baker of Omaha, David (Melissa) Baker of Appling, Georgia, Aaron (Jennifer) Frisch of Papillion, Alisa (Tom) Kuether of Pierce, and Abbey (Blake) Baumann of Lincoln; 23 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, Ray, John Jr., and Edward; sisters, Helen Demerath, Ann Jelinek, and Betty Tichy; and one great-granddaughter, Madison McInerney.
