Darwin L. Rouillard of Santee, Nebraska formerly of Sioux City, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at Hospice House in Yankton, South Dakota.
Darwin was born on January 30, 1962, to the proud parents of Delbert Rouillard and Mary Ann Denney-Cassens.  He was the first born of three children.
Darwin lived in Sioux City most of his life until recently, when he moved to Santee with his wife, Lisa.  Darwin married Lisa James on September 7, 1984.  To this union three children were born to them: Lance Rouillard, David Rouillard, and Jessica Rouillard.
Darwin received his GED through Woodbury County in 1979.  He worked many jobs in his lifetime.  Darwin worked for Elkhorn construction helping build bridges.  He also worked at Dryco Roofing for seven years.  Darwin most passionate job was being a drug counselor.  He loved helping people as much as he possibly could.
Darwin’s second love of his life were his grandchildren.  He tried to do as much as possible with them.  Darwin was always a children person.  He had many grandchildren, not just his immediate grandchildren.  His love for them knew no bounds.
Darwin leaves behind his wife, Lisa; his children, Lance Rouillard, David (Sarah) Rouillard, Jessica Rouillard; a sister, Dana (Jason Huilt); his mother, Mary Ann (Jim) Cassens; one uncle, Milton Rouillard; and nine grandchildren, Nevaeh, Dakotah, Audrina, Aiyana, Vanessa, Alexandrea, Hazen, Lance, Jr., and Jace Darwin “JD”.
Darwin was preceded in death by his father, Delbert; one sister, Darla; one niece, Heather Rouillard; and many aunts he loved dearly.
