Funeral Services for Darrell Kemnitz

Funeral services for Darrell Kemnitz, age 64, of Niobrara, Nebraska will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 11, 2015, at Brockhaus Funeral Home in Niobrara. Reverend Trudy Hanke will officiate, with burial at a later date.

Military Honors will be provided by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4834 and American Legion Post 224.

Darrell died Monday, December 7, 2015, at his residence.

Darrell Eugene Kemnitz, son of Milford and Marvelyn Kemnitz, was born June 1, 1951, at Sioux City, Iowa. He attended Maryvale High School in Phoenix, Arizona. Darrell served in the United States Army from June 13,1968, until April 30, 1971. He was a member of American Legion Post 224 of Niobrara, Nebraska.

Darrell is survived by his sisters, Diana (Jim) Forbis of Glendale, Arizona, Eileen (Vic) Pickering of Lynch, Nebraska, and Dawn (Jim) Johnston of Verdel, Nebraska.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Darlene; and brother, David.
