Funeral Services For Christopher A. Chapman

Funeral services for Chris (Chaska`) Chapman, age 43 of  Niobrara, Nebraska, will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at Blessed Redeemer Church in rural Center, Nebraska with burial in Howe Creek Cemetery in rural Center.

Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. Monday at Oyate Oyanke Community Center in Santee, with nightly Wake Services held Monday and Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.

Brockhaus Funeral Home of Niobrara, Nebraska is in charge of arrangements.

Chris died Friday, November 17, 2017 at his home.

Christopher Alan Chapman, son of Patricia L. Chapman, was born February 26, 1974, at Wagner, South Dakota. He attended Niobrara Public School. Chris spent his childhood years in Niobrara. He then lived in Sioux City, Iowa for 16 years, until returning to the area recently to live with his aunt. Chris was a factory worker and also did various odd jobs. He was blessed with a daughter Grace Pearl Chapman. Chris was a member of Blessed Redeemer Episcopal Church.

Chris is survived by his sisters, Marsha Reyes of Niobrara, Nebraska and Candice Lahners of Lincoln, Nebraska.

He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Grace Pearl Chapman; his mother, Patricia L. Chapman; grandparents, Herman And Grace Chapman; and several aunts and uncles.
