Funeral Services For Arlene Raff

Funeral services for Arlene Raff, age 99, of Creighton, Nebraska will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Brockhaus Funeral Home in Creighton. Reverend Milana Joseph will officiate, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery in Creighton.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Arlene died Friday, April 14, 2017, at Avera Creighton Care Centre.

Arlene Irene Raff, daughter of William and Carrie (Finke) Tyler, was born October 20, 1917, at Winnetoon, Nebraska. She attended country school at Districts 156, 32, and 24. Arlene was united in marriage to Muriel Raff on September 12, 1935, at Neligh, Nebraska. They were blessed with one son, Larry.

Arlene and Muriel farmed west of Creighton, Nebraska all their married life. They moved to Creighton in 1976. Arlene worked at Lundberg Memorial Hospital for 15 years. When she retired, she still helped others in need and sickness. Arlene was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Creighton. She was also a member of the Senior Citizens.

Arlene is survived by her son, Larry (Shirley) Raff; two grandchildren, Diane (Mike) Henke and Brian Raff; five great-grandsons, Dylan Wyatt, Noah Wyatt, Alexander Raff, Kendrick Raff, and Jack Raff; sister-in-law, Delsie Forrest; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

​She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Marjorie (Vern) Dredge and Lois Tyler; and brother, Harold (Frances) Tyler.
