Niobrara’s chapter of the National Honor Society recently traveled to Omaha for an educational outing.
Sunday, April 22, the group traveled to Omaha and ended up at The House of Conundrum.
There they got to participate in two different escape rooms. Half of the group took on the “bat cave” while the others tried to “save Lincoln.”
The intention of an escape room is to figure out all the clues and solve the mystery before the time runs out.
The bat cave group solved the mystery and escaped with over six minutes remaining.
The save Lincoln group narrowly escaped with only 19 seconds remaining.
After the fun escape experiences, the group ate at Spaghetti Works in the Old Market.
They capped off the night by swimming in the pool at the Hyatt Place, which was where they stayed Sunday night.
Monday, the students visited Henry Doorly Zoo. The weather was perfect for such an outing. They visited the desert dome, African grasslands, the lied jungle and the aquarium.
