Excessive Speed Leads To Rollover In Niobrara State Park

The Knox County Sheriff's Office responded to a rollover accident in Niobrara State Park on Saturday.

At approximately 9:30 p.m. a 2008 Dodge Ram pickup truck driven by Kevin Kaiser, 35, of Wausa, NE was traveling along state park roads when he lost control and the vehicle rolled onto its roof. 

The accident was investigated by the Sheriff’s Office and it was determined excessive speed was the cause of the accident.  No injuries were reported as a result of the accident.  The vehicle was a total loss.  

 Niobrara Police Department and Niobrara Fire and & Rescue Department  also responded to the scene of the accident.
