Warriors Down Trojans To Advance To District Finals

It was a slightly tougher challenge than the Crofton volleyball squad was used to, but they were able to take down Hartington Cedar Catholic to advance to another district final.

The Warriors beat the Trojans in three sets, 25-23, 25-21, 25-21, to advance and keep their hopes for a fourth-straight state playoff berth alive.

Crofton was once again led by Monica Arens and Kelsey Sanger on the night. Arens put down an incredible 18 kills while Sanger recorded 15 kills, two aces, two blocks and 18 digs. 

Mariah Sage added four blocks of her own and Josie Sanger pulled up 22 digs.
