The Crofton boys cross country squad proved themselves among the top groups in the state Friday at the State Cross Country Meet in Kearney.
The boys finished in sixth as a team, averaging a finish of 18:14.57.
Senior Jake Neuhalfen was the lone medal winner for the Warriors, finishing third with a time of 17:03.72.
Sophomore Tanner Arens finished just outside of the medal winners, finishing 22nd with a time of 18:18.78. Tyler Janssen, also a sophomore, finished 32nd with a time of 18:33.78 and Senior Justin Goeden was 52nd in the 148 runner field with a time of 19:02.02.
Also competing for the Warriors was Max Boecker, a junior, and Gabriel Potts, a freshman. The two finished 72nd and 83rd, respectively. Boecker ran the course in 19:57.26 and Potts finished in 20:25.92.
The top runner on the day was Norfolk Catholic's Jonah Heng with a time of 16:55.1.
