(Righ to Left) Cindy Bruns, Shannon Johnson, Kelly Kumm, Corey Gerdes and Kim Wachter are shown in front of the new equipment at Bloomfi eld Community School that was purchased with their donations. Funds received went toward the purchase of eight new Matrix Power Stations.

Bloomfield Community Schools is thanking the community and more specifically the following groups or individuals who have made the weight room upgrade a possibility with their generous donations.

The updated equipment enhanced the weight room aesthetically as well as increased the number of stations that students could safely lift at.

The weight room currently offers four treadmills, two stationary bikes and two arc trainers in addition to the free weights. Future additions include an additional treadmill.

The treadmills and Arc trainers are very popular items and get extensive use daily.

This much needed upgrade to the weight room will provide a healthy benefit to our students, staff and community members for years to come.

Those donating were Mark Miller $10,000, Bloomfield coaching staff $5,000, Bee Boosters $2,500, Michael’s Foods $2,000 and the Bank of Hartington $500.
