Last Wednesday, the Bloomfield Fire Department gathered for practice and announced that Brandon Rosberg was named 2018's Firefighter of the Year.
Rosberg doesn't only devote much of his time to as geting to as many fire calls as he can, but he also is present at every meeting and practice.
"His perfect attendance to meetings and practices played an instrumental roll in him earning this award," Fire Chief Steve True said.
Many citizens may also recognize him from the many events that the Bloomfield Fire Department puts on, as Rosberg is always present.
It doesn't matter if it is a large gathering like a firemans dance or a small bingo gathering at the fire hall, Rosberg is probably devoting his time to the event.
Reed Eckmann and Ralph Jessen were also recognized for their 20 years of dedication to the Bloomfield Fire Department at the meeting.
