Carrying The Crosses

The community, churches and youth group participated in the annual 'Carrying the Crosses' walk this afternoon in Bloomfield. Over thirty participated in this years event.

The event is held on Good Friday each year following the Ecumenical Good Friday Service that is held at the Community Center. 

The group begins at the fair grounds by carrying three crosses across town along main street to its destination of the cemetery. Every few blocks the group stopped for scripture and to allow others to carry the crosses. 

Following the conclusion, a trolley returned people to the fair grounds, Community Center and each designated stop along the way.
